Every year tons of the NOx pollutants (NO and NO2 compounds) are released in the air by human activities causing smog, lung problems and eutrophication).

NOx comes mostly from the combustion processes, but there are ways to avoid it. AquaGreen has recently been awarded CTI funding to further improve our technical solution, which will help eliminating this malicious cycle. Thanks to the funding we can work with experienced DTU scientists on further optimizing the burning process in order to eliminate NOx emissions. Moreover we are collaborating with Danref, who is manufacturing our ceramic burners used in our pyrolysis process.

We are very proud that CTI has decided to support AquaGreen’s steam drying- and pyrolysis solution and thereby contribute to further optimization of our solution and make it even more sustainable.
